Set in the very heart of the village, just 30m away from the
main lift station; the Hotel de la Croisette is a vibrant,
family-run hotel, which also hosts Bar Le Jump - probably
the most popular après-ski venue in the resort among
Brits. Run for the past 8 years by Tim and Janie, the Croisette
is perfect for anyone who wants to be at the very centre of
the action.
Accommodation in the newly refurbished rooms is on a bed
and breakfast basis, enabling guests to take advantage of
the numerous quality restaurants of which Courchevel is justly
proud. There is a very cosy private lounge downstairs, where
residents can slip away from the crowd and enjoy afternoon
tea at the end of a hard day’s skiing, before surfacing
to the noisy set.
On the other hand, Le Jump gets very sparky once the lifts
close and is a great place to start and/or finish the evening.
The bar also serves very reasonably priced and tasty lunches
and has a small terrace to relax on as well as a warm Savoyard
interior.
In short, La Croisette is perfect for those who enjoy a spirited
atmosphere, the convenience of being slap bang in the middle
of the resort, a dozen paces from the piste and would want
to sample different restaurants in the evenings. |
