Hotel Le Lana
Simply bursting with old-world Savoyard hospitality and charm, Le Lana enjoys a plum location in the middle of the resort, and yet you can ski straight out of the ski-room.Among its extensive facilities, the hotel boasts a newly kitted out gym, sauna and Jacuzzi, Hammam steam room, extensive massage treatments, Clarins beauty centre and a gorgeous swimming pool – a little oasis of calm after a long day on the slopes (or enjoying the après ski).
There is also a huge south-facing terrace, adjacent to the spacious dining room, which is perfect for a sundowner with friends watching the hurly-burly of the end of the day down below. It is also possible to have lunch here as an alternative to evening dining at the hotel should you wish - and Michelin 2* chef Guy Martin will certainly ensure you don’t go hungry!
One of the most spacious and attractive guest lounges in the resort features a welcoming bar area, wifi throughout and pool and gaming tables.
The large bedrooms and suites are traditionally decorated, with all the little touches one would expect of a hotel of this class, and all have a private balcony commanding views over the village, valley or mountain.
Literally (as well as metaphorically!) beyond the other rooms, the two sumptuous apartments occupying the top floors of the hotel are truly superb.
Put simply, this is probably the most exclusive centrally-located hotel in Courchevel 1850 and rightly deserves its 5* classification. Impossible to fault on any level.
