Offering the luxury of ski-in/ski-out convenience while being
a two-minute walk from the resort’s heart, the Rond
Point is one of Courchevel’s treasures.
It features one of the most attractive and welcoming
bar lounges in the resort, complete with inglenook fireplace
and comfy sofas, and a lovely dining room with great views
of the mountain.
The food here is truly excellent (possibly the
best breakfasts in Courchevel) with a dessert trolley which
is bad for the figure just to look at! It is possible to have
lunch on the spacious terrace, as an alternative to an evening
meal should one wish.
The 40 bedrooms and suites are impeccably decorated with many
little touches, which just set them off a treat. If the Royal
Suite is good enough for the Aga Khan it is good enough for
most people!
Facilities include sauna, Hammam, Jacuzzi, gym
and massage room. There is also a games room for children.
Run for many years by husband and wife, Julio
and Corinne, the Rond Point des Pistes is one of those hotels
which has a homely air about it: luxurious without being stuffy,
with among the friendliest staff in the resort. The number
of returning guests is testament to the great location, lovely
surroundings and the professional and welcoming way the hotel
is run. It is hard to fault on any level and we have yet to
meet anyone who can do so. |
