Giles Thornton is a 36-year-old ski enthusiast who saw the light one rain-swept Monday morning in the central London offices of ‘The Bank’. Three winter seasons later, having seen the good and plain bad aspects of different tour operations as a rep in St Anton, Val d’Isère and Courchevel 1850, he decided that the time had come to try and make a real difference to peoples’ ski holiday experiences and strike out alone – alright, not quite alone….

Vicky Brown is a 32-year-old lover of the outdoors and has spent many years in tour operations. She managed both winter and summer programmes for groups and families, before returning to London to work in ski recruitment. Two years on she has again felt the pull of the mountains and shares Giles’ desire to provide guests on their well-earned winter break with the flexibility and service that everybody deserves but few receive.
